Crazy Matrix besteht aus einem System aus Schaltern und Lampen (Matrix). Beim Betätigen eines Schalters wechseln eine oder meist mehrere Lampen ihren Zustand (Hell oder Dunkel). Es gibt aber genau eine Kombination von Ein- bzw. Ausschaltzuständen der Schalter, bei der alle Lampen leuchten. Ziel des Spiels ist es, diese Kombination herauszufinden. Die Zahl der Schalter bzw. Lampen kann zwischen 4 und 25 frei gewählt werden, was logischerweise auch unterschiedliche Schwierigkeitsgrade mit sich bringt. Als kleine Hilfe kannst Du bestimmte Schalter, deren Funktion Dir bereits bekannt ist, sperren.
